At Molina Medical Group clinics in Sacramento, a vending machine rather than a pharmacist dispenses prescription drugs.

Medical assistant Veva Oropeza works with Angelica Garcia, who brought her 7-month-old son, Adan Verdin, to see a doctor at a Molina Medical Group clinic in North Sacramento. If the child needs medication, a kiosk in the next room is stocked with the most commonly used prescriptions, saving a trip to a pharmacy.
